Choose the pack, then check the filter
Compare standard packs, larger bag-only supplies and bundles by their listed contents. A larger pack is useful when you want replacements on hand, but confirm fit before stocking up. A compatible bag does not guarantee that a bundled exhaust filter fits your machine.

Which bags fit my Miele vacuum?
Check the complete model name and the bag code in your manual or dust compartment. Use the comparison above as a starting point. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the model label before ordering.
Does Classic C1 use the same bag as Compact C1?
No. Classic C1 uses GN bags. Compact C1 uses FJM bags. The words Classic, Compact and Complete are important when identifying a Miele.
Do Guard L1 and Guard M1 use the same bags?
No. Guard L1 uses TU bags and Guard M1 uses CO bags. Guard S1 also uses TU; older S1/Swing models require a separate compatibility check.
Are filters included in every bag pack?
Contents vary by item. Check the product listing for the number of bags and the exact included filters. A standard AirClean filter is not the same as a HEPA filter.
Will a GN bag-and-HEPA-filter bundle fit every GN vacuum?
Not necessarily. Bag compatibility and exhaust-filter compatibility must be checked separately. A vacuum may accept GN bags without accepting the HA50 filter included in a particular bundle.
When should I replace my Miele vacuum bag?
Follow the bag-change indicator procedure in your model’s manual. Fine dust can restrict airflow before the bag looks full. Reduced suction can also come from a blocked hose or filter, so check the cause rather than relying only on appearance.
Can I empty and reuse a Miele FilterBag?
Miele disposable FilterBags are intended to be replaced. Do not wash or empty them for reuse. Switch off and unplug the vacuum before replacement and seat the new bag as directed in your manual.
