Compare Miele vacuum families
Use this overview to shortlist models, then check the exact product’s included tools, filter and availability.
| Family | Why compare it? | What to check | Explore models |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guard L1 & M1 | Bagged canisters with several floor-tool configurations. | Compare the included nozzle and filter; the family name alone does not establish carpet suitability. | L1 Electro · L1 Cat & Dog · M1 |
| Classic C1 | A straightforward bagged option for different flooring needs. | Pure Suction, Turbo Team and Cat & Dog have different floor tools. | Pure Suction · Turbo Team · Cat & Dog |
| Boost CX1 & Blizzard CX1 | Bagless canisters for shoppers who prefer a dust container. | Check the specific brush and follow the model’s container and filter-care instructions. | Boost CX1 · Blizzard CX1 |
| Triflex HX3 / HX2 & Duoflex HX1 | Cordless cleaning for quick pickups and flexible routines. | Compare included tools, handling, battery configuration and runtime under the mode you will use. | Triflex HX3 · Triflex HX2 · Duoflex HX1 |
| Complete C3 & Scout RX3 | Additional canister and robot options shown in our catalog. | Confirm current availability. A robot does not replace stair or upholstery tools. | Complete C3 · Scout RX3 |
Match the brush to your floors
Hard floors and lighter rug cleaning
Look for a suitable hard-floor or combination tool. A turbobrush is air-driven and can suit some rugs and shorter-pile carpet. Check delicate rug instructions before using a rotating brush.
Carpet and more demanding pet cleanup
Compare electric-brush configurations and test how they move across your carpet. “Cat & Dog” does not guarantee an electric powerhead: the Guard L1 Cat & Dog 12704570 uses a turbobrush.
Miele collection FAQs
Which Miele vacuum should I choose for hardwood floors?
Start with a model supplied with a suitable hard-floor tool. Classic C1 Pure Suction is one option to compare; also look at Guard configurations and bagless choices. Tell us about delicate flooring and area rugs so we can match the nozzle to both.
Which Miele should I choose for carpet and pet hair?
Compare the actual brush, carpet pile and your carpet maker’s care instructions. An electric powerhead is worth considering for more demanding carpet cleaning. Guard L1 Electro and Classic C1 Cat & Dog are configurations to discuss with our team. Ask for a demonstration on similar carpet.
Does every Cat & Dog model have an electric powerhead?
No. The U.S. Guard L1 Cat & Dog 12704570 includes an air-driven turbobrush. Its floor tool differs from the electric-brush Classic C1 Cat & Dog. Always check the exact model and included accessories.
Are all Miele vacuums supplied with a HEPA filter?
No. Filter equipment varies by model. HEPA AirClean and Active AirClean are different options; Active AirClean focuses on odor reduction. Check the product specification and filter compatibility before ordering.
Which bags fit Classic C1, Complete C3 and Guard vacuums?
Classic C1 and Complete C3 use GN bags. Guard L1 uses TU; Guard M1 uses CO. Match your exact model before buying. Shop Miele vacuum bags or use our Miele parts, bags and filters guide.
Can I compare Miele vacuums locally before buying?
Contact Ace Vacuums for demonstrations and model availability at our Fairfax and Leesburg showrooms. Tell us which models you want to compare before traveling so we can confirm what is available at that location.
What warranty comes with a Miele vacuum?
Coverage depends on the exact model and purchase terms. HomeCare and selected dealer configurations can differ from other models. We can help you confirm the applicable written Miele warranty before purchase; keep your receipt.
Can you help with Miele parts and service?
Yes. Contact our team with the model number and the problem or part you need. Start with our Miele parts and support guide, or shop replacement hoses. Fitment and service eligibility need to be checked for your specific vacuum.
