RICCAR VACUUM FILTERS

Riccar vacuum cleaner filters are made in the USA by Tacony corp. There are various types of Filters made by Riccar are available, namely HEPA filter, Charcoal filter, Electrostatic filter. HEPA filters traps harmful particles such as pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and tobacco smoke. Removes 99.97% of particles that have a size of 0.3 micron.
Charcoal filter, Active charcoal carbon filters are most effective at removing chlorine, sediment, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), taste and odor from water. They are not effective at removing minerals, salts, and dissolved inorganic compounds.
An electrostatic air filter collects particles on the principle that the filter is charged one way and the dust particles are charged the other way, causing the dust particles to stick to each other.
Riccar vacuum filters and Simplicity vacuum filters are compatible to each other and can be interchangeable. Please refer the Riccar / Simplicity chart for details.
For maintaining clean air, change the vacuum cleaner filters every 6 to 12 month for best results.
