The Amaircare 8"M Standard Annual Kit contains the filters to keep an Amaircare 2500 HEPA Air Purifier working at top efficiency for a year. The Kit includes 3 pre-filters and 2 carbon filters (inner blanket), and replacements coordinate with the 8" molded HEPA Cartridge. To keep the HEPA filter and your 2500 performing at peak efficiency, and to keep the air quality in your home or office space consistently high, you'll want to keep replacing these filters on schedule. The quality of air in the enclosed space the 2500 is purifying will determine the frequency of changing.
The pre-filter removes dust and odors from the air. Replace it every 3 to 4 months. The inner carbon filter removes VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds): odors, solvent and paint fumes, etc. This should be replaced every 6 months.
Note that this Kit does not include the VOC Canister. If you already purchased this with your Amaircare 2500, see the Plus Annual Kit, which includes 3 pre-filters and 1 VOC Canister instead of 3 carbon filters.
Owners of the Amaircare 2500 without a VOC Canister may still upgrade to more effective removal of VOCs from their home or office environments by buying the Plus Annual Kit, which includes the VOC Canister, with 8 pounds of carbon.
