SEBO Vacuum Bag Guide: Bag Numbers & Service Boxes
Match the model first, then choose the maintenance pack. SEBO uses different bag formats across its canister and upright families. A filter bag box and a service box can also contain very different items, even when both mention the same vacuum family.
This guide from Ace Vacuums explains the common bag numbers, how to compare kits and what to check before ordering. Shop the SEBO bags collection →

Find your SEBO bag number
Read the model label on the vacuum body. The name on a detachable powerhead is not enough to identify the bag used by the canister. Compare the full vacuum model with the bag-box description.
| Vacuum family | Bag number | Shop |
|---|---|---|
| AIRBELT E | 8300AM | View bags |
| AIRBELT K | 6629AM | View bags |
| AIRBELT D | 8120AM | View bags |
| FELIX & DART | 7029AM | View bags |
| Automatic X / G / C / 300–370 | 5093AM | View bags |
| Softcase | 75175AM | View bags |
These are common U.S. bag-box references. Check the exact product listing and manual for your model, particularly for older and commercial machines.
AIRBELT E, K and D: three different bag formats
Do not choose a bag simply because the machine is a SEBO canister. AIRBELT E uses 8300AM, AIRBELT K uses 6629AM and AIRBELT D uses 8120AM. Match the letter in the vacuum family to the bag format before comparing quantities.
SEBO’s official accessory lists confirm the separate E-series, K-series and D-series bag references.
FELIX, DART and Softcase uprights
FELIX and DART share the 7029AM bag box, as shown in SEBO’s DART accessory list. Softcase uses a different format: the Softcase CE12 manual identifies 75175AM. Confirm the model rather than selecting a bag based on the general upright shape.
Automatic X bags and service kits are different decisions
5093AM is the common bag box for Automatic X and the compatible G, C and 300/350/370 models listed on the product. SEBO lists that bag reference in its Essential G accessories and X7/X8 manual.
Sharing a dustbag does not mean sharing every maintenance component. The service kit for X7/X8 is different from the kit for X1/X2/X4/X5. Use the exact X model when ordering filters or a full kit.
Filter bag box versus service box
Bag box or service box?
Choose a bag box when you need replacement bags. Choose a compatible service box when its included filters or other maintenance items are also due for replacement. Check the exact contents; a shared bag format does not make every service kit interchangeable.
- AIRBELT E: 8334AM service box
- AIRBELT K: 6695AM service box or 6431AM HEPA service box
- Automatic X1/X2/X4/X5: 5828AM service box
- Automatic X7/X8: 51828AM service box
Retail boxes and bulk cartons are both listed in this collection. Read the selling-unit quantity before ordering a carton.
When is a service box useful?
A service box is worth comparing when your filters are also due for replacement under the model’s maintenance instructions. If you only need bags and the filters are still within their service interval, a bag box may be the more appropriate purchase.
Read each kit’s contents rather than assuming every service box contains the same filters or sealing components. HEPA versions are separately identified products; check compatibility before switching filter types. Browse SEBO filters if you need a filter without a bag supply.
Retail boxes versus bulk cartons
The collection includes individual retail boxes and larger carton listings. “Eight bags” may describe the contents of one retail box while a carton listing contains multiple boxes. Read the selling-unit description and confirm quantities with our team before placing a bulk order.
For household use, start with the clearly identified retail bag box. For a business or multi-vacuum maintenance supply, give us the model numbers and quantity needed so we can help compare the relevant carton options.
When to change your SEBO bag
Follow the bag or blockage indicator instructions in your vacuum’s manual. A bag can become restrictive before it looks full, particularly after collecting fine dust. Reduced suction can also come from a blockage or a filter needing attention, so check the cause instead of assuming the bag is the only issue.
Disposable bags are intended to be replaced, not washed or emptied for reuse. Keep the correct replacements available and follow the model-specific filter-care schedule.
Changing the bag
- Switch off and unplug the vacuum before opening the bag compartment.
- Remove the old bag according to the manual and use its closure or supplied cap as directed.
- Fit the specified replacement securely into the holder. Avoid forcing the collar or lid.
- Confirm the bag and required filters are correctly installed before operating the vacuum.
If the lid will not close normally or the bag does not seat properly, recheck the part number and installation. Contact our team if the fit remains unclear.
