GN, FJM, U, KK, TU and CO are bag types. AirClean 3D, HyClean Air and pack sizes describe product versions or packaging; check the bag letters and compatible models first. Very old or unlisted models, including machines with other legacy bag designations, need a model-number lookup.
Filter part numbers explained
Choose one compatible exhaust-filter option. HEPA, Active AirClean and standard AirClean are alternatives where your manual permits them; they are not filters to stack together. A standard AirClean pad needs the correct holder. The motor-protection filter is a separate component.

Two easy mistakes to avoid: Classic C1 uses GN bags with 30-series cartridge filters; Compact C1 uses FJM bags with 50-series cartridge filters. A “Cat & Dog” or “HomeCare” name alone is not enough to identify the correct part.

Miele lists GN bags for Classic C1 and FJM bags for Compact C1. The full model name matters, so check the manual and replacement package rather than choosing by “C1” alone.
