Two Purpose-Built Floor Tools

Product Overview

The German-made SEBO AIRBELT K2 Turbo is a corded, straight-suction canister with two dedicated floor tools. Use the parquet brush on hardwood, tile, stone, laminate, and luxury vinyl. Use the TT-C turbo head when suitable rugs or lighter carpet benefit from an airflow-driven rotating brush.

The TT-C has no separate motor, and the K2 hose and wand contain no wiring. This simple system suits hard-floor-led homes, but an ET-1 electric head cannot be added later. Carpet-heavy buyers should start with a K3, E3, or D4 Premium.

A body-mounted knob adjusts the 1,250-watt suction motor. An AeraPure bag, pre-motor microfilter, exhaust filter, and sealed casing manage dust, while three rubber-coated wheels and the textile AIRBELT protect finished interiors.

Professional Buying Guidance

Expert Recommendation

We recommend K2 Turbo for hard-floor-first homes with area rugs or limited suitable low- to medium-pile carpet. Its value comes from matching each surface with the right tool.

Choose the K2 Turbo

You clean mostly smooth floors plus rugs that benefit from turbo brushing, and you value compact storage, optional HEPA filtration, and dedicated tools.

Choose the K2 Kombi

You want one combination nozzle for smooth flooring and flat or occasional rugs rather than separate turbo and parquet tools.

Choose the K3 or E3 Premium

You have wall-to-wall carpet, dense pile, several heavy-shedding pets, or embedded carpet hair requiring a motorized ET-1.

SEBO publishes 120 CFM motor-rated airflow, 95 inches of water lift, a 37-foot range, and 63 dBA. Carpet construction still determines the right nozzle, so call Ace Vacuums if your flooring mix is uncertain.

Homes and Cleaning Needs

Best For

Hardwood and delicate floors

The dedicated parquet brush avoids powered agitation, while rubber-coated wheels support careful movement.

Area rugs and lighter carpet

The airflow-driven TT-C roller refreshes suitable rugs or limited low- to medium-pile carpet.

Light-to-moderate pet shedding

Collect loose fur from hard floors and surface hair from rugs; embedded carpet hair calls for an electric head.

Allergy-conscious households

Sealed S-class filtration and capped bags contain dust, with a model-specific HEPA upgrade available.

Apartments and quiet cleaning

The compact body, parking positions, AIRBELT, and published 63 dBA suit quieter apartment cleaning.

Luxury and carefully furnished homes

The cushioned AIRBELT and three soft wheels help protect floors, walls, cabinetry, and furniture.

Small and medium-size homes

A 37-foot range covers many multi-room layouts; very large homes should also compare SEBO D models.

Stairs and detailed cleaning

The hose, adjustable wand, and onboard tools clean steps, upholstery, edges, baseboards, curtains, and shelves.

Balanced Buying Advice

Not Ideal For

  • Carpet-dominant homes: An air-driven turbo head is not a substitute for a motorized power head across substantial wall-to-wall carpet.
  • Plush, shag, or dense pile: Thick carpet can restrict the airflow that spins the TT-C roller. Follow the flooring maker's care instructions and test compatibility.
  • Heavy embedded pet hair: Several shedding pets on carpet are better matched to the ET-1 electric head supplied with a K3, E3, or D4 Premium.
  • Future electric-head upgrades: The K2's hose and wand are not electrified, so an ET-1 cannot be added later.
  • Handle-control shoppers: Variable suction is adjusted on the canister body rather than at the hose handle.
  • Push-button rewind preferences: K2 uses SEBO's tug-and-retract cord system, while E2 Turbo uses a dedicated rewind button.
  • Bagless or cordless-only buyers: This is a corded canister that requires genuine K-series bags and scheduled filter replacement.
  • Commercial, wet, or outdoor cleaning: K2 is a dry-use household vacuum, and SEBO's residential warranty does not cover commercial use.

Feature-to-Benefit Guide

Key Features

Key features and owner benefits of the SEBO AIRBELT K2 Turbo
Feature What it does Why it matters
TT-C turbo head Uses suction airflow to rotate a brush roller; a slider adapts it for suitable lower- or higher-pile rugs. Adds surface agitation without an electric brush motor.
Dedicated parquet brush Cleans smooth floors with lightweight straight-suction movement. Provides agile care for hardwood, tile, laminate, and luxury vinyl.
1,250-watt variable suction Adjusts airflow for floors, rugs, curtains, upholstery, and attachments. Lets one canister handle both routine and delicate cleaning.
Canister-mounted control Places the suction knob on the K2 body. Keeps operation simple while making the control location clear before purchase.
Sealed S-class filtration Uses an AeraPure bag, pre-motor microfilter, exhaust filter, and sealed casing. Manages captured dust through the complete airflow path; optional HEPA is available.
0.8-gallon capped bag Collects debris in a three-layer disposable bag with a closure cap. Avoids the open-bin emptying associated with bagless vacuums.
37-foot operating range Combines a 25-foot cord with a seven-foot hose and wand reach. Reduces outlet changes across rooms and hallways.
AIRBELT and three soft wheels Cushions contact, diffuses exhaust, and rolls on rubber-coated castors. Helps protect furniture, walls, finished floors, and the canister itself.
Airflow warning and motor protection Signals a full bag or clog; bypass and thermal systems protect the motor during restriction or overheating. Encourages timely maintenance and safer operation.
Tug-and-retract cord; soft start A brief pull activates cord rewind, while soft start manages motor startup. Adds convenient storage and controlled operation.
Onboard tools and dual parking Stores three detail tools and parks the wand horizontally or vertically. Keeps accessories accessible and makes storage easier.

Why Buyers Choose the K2 Turbo

What Makes This Model Stand Out

True two-tool floor system

The parquet brush focuses on smooth-floor agility, while the TT-C adds rotating-brush action for rugs. Each tool has a clear purpose.

Optional HEPA path

The standard sealed S-class system can be upgraded with the K-series HEPA Service Box when a buyer specifically wants compatible HEPA pre-motor filtration.

Quiet, protective design

The published 63 dBA sound level, cushioned AIRBELT, and rubber-coated wheels suit apartments and carefully furnished homes.

Serviceable German platform

Replaceable bags, filters, attachments, and wear items—backed by authorized repair—support a longer ownership horizon than disposable vacuums.

Choose by Priorities

Product Comparisons

K2 Turbo vs. K2 Kombi

Both share the 0.8-gallon K2 platform. Turbo includes separate TT-C and parquet tools; Kombi uses one retractable-bristle nozzle for smooth floors and flat rugs.

K2 Turbo vs. K3 Premium

K3 adds an electrified system, ET-1 head, carpet heights, and handle controls for wall-to-wall carpet and embedded hair. K2 cannot accept ET-1 later.

K2 Turbo vs. E2 Turbo

Both use turbo and parquet tools with a 37-foot range. E2 has a larger bag, lighter body, push-button rewind, and published 58 dBA; K2 offers optional HEPA.

K2 Turbo vs. E3 Premium

E3 adds a motorized ET-1, handle controls, and a larger bag for carpet. K2 is the focused hard-floor choice with optional HEPA.

SEBO K2 vs. Miele Classic C1 Turbo Team

Both include turbo and hard-floor tools. K2 publishes a 37-foot range versus Miele's 29-foot radius and adds AIRBELT protection plus optional HEPA.

SEBO K2 vs. Dyson cordless

K2 emphasizes continuous power, sealed-bag capacity, dedicated tools, and repairability. Cordless sticks prioritize instant pickups and cars but introduce battery and small-bin tradeoffs.

Canister vs. upright

K2 leaves motor weight on the floor and uses a light handle for stairs and furniture. An upright feels more direct across broad carpeted rooms.

Riccar vs. SEBO K2

Compare the exact Riccar configuration with K2 for floor tools, filtration, weight, controls, warranty, and parts support; brand-level claims are not enough.

Comparison context: A turbo head spins from airflow; an electric power head has its own brush motor. Those systems are not interchangeable, and rug or carpet compatibility depends on construction, pile, care instructions, and the exact nozzle.

Straight Answers Before You Buy

Questions Buyers Commonly Ask

Is the K2 Turbo good for hardwood floors?

Yes. Its light, maneuverable parquet brush is purpose-built for straight-suction cleaning on smooth floors.

Is this vacuum good for pet hair?

It collects loose fur and surface rug hair. Choose an ET-1 electric head for heavy shedding embedded across carpet.

Is the SEBO K2 Turbo worth buying?

Yes, if you value its two floor tools, sealed bags, furniture protection, repairability, and authorized service—not if carpet or cordless use dominates.

Is it quieter than Dyson?

SEBO publishes 63 dBA. A fair Dyson comparison requires the exact model, power mode, floor head, and identical test method.

Can I add an electric power head later?

No. K2 is non-electrified. Choose K3, E3, or D4 Premium if current or future carpet needs an ET-1.

Which homes benefit most?

Hard-floor-led apartments and small-to-medium homes with area rugs benefit most, especially when buyers prefer bags and careful furniture protection.

Open all SEBO K2 Turbo buying and ownership FAQs
What comes with the SEBO AIRBELT K2 Turbo #9678AM?

You get the Black Cherry canister, TT-C turbo head, parquet brush, hose, telescopic tube, and onboard crevice, upholstery, and dusting tools.

Is #9678AM the U.S. Black Cherry model?

Yes. SEBO identifies 9678AM as the U.S. AIRBELT K2 Turbo in Black Cherry.

What is the difference between a turbo head and an electric power head?

A turbo head spins from suction airflow. An electric head has a brush motor for more consistent carpet and embedded-hair agitation.

Can an ET-1 electric power head be added to the K2 Turbo?

No. K2's hose and tube are non-electrified. Choose K3, E3, or D4 Premium if you need ET-1 performance.

Is the SEBO K2 Turbo good for hardwood floors?

Yes. Use the parquet brush and follow your flooring maker's instructions, especially on delicate or high-gloss finishes.

Is the K2 Turbo suitable for area rugs?

It suits many low- and medium-pile rugs. Adjust suction and the TT-C slider; use care with fringe, loose weaves, and delicate fibers.

Can it clean wall-to-wall carpet?

It can clean limited compatible carpet, but K3 or E3 Premium is better for routine wall-to-wall carpet cleaning.

Is it suitable for thick or high-pile carpet?

Not generally. Dense fibers can restrict a turbo roller, and some shag or delicate carpets should not meet rotating brushes.

Is the SEBO K2 Turbo good for pet hair?

Yes for loose fur and surface rug hair. Heavy shedding embedded in carpet calls for an electric power-head model.

Is the K2 Turbo a good vacuum for allergy sufferers?

Its sealed S-class system and capped bags support contained disposal. Consult a professional when filtration is medically critical.

Does the K2 Turbo include HEPA filtration?

No. Standard #9678AM has S-class filtration. HEPA Service Box K #6431AM supplies the optional HEPA pre-motor upgrade.

Which vacuum bags fit the SEBO K2 Turbo?

Use SEBO Filter Bag Box K #6629AM, which contains eight capped AeraPure K-series bags.

Which replacement filters and service boxes fit this model?

Use Filter Set K #6696AM, Service Box K #6695AM, or optional HEPA Service Box K #6431AM.

What is the K2 Turbo's bag capacity?

SEBO publishes 0.8 gallon. Change the bag when indicated; frequency depends on cleaning volume and collected material.

How quiet is the SEBO AIRBELT K2 Turbo?

SEBO publishes 63 dBA. The room, surface, tool, and suction setting affect perceived sound.

What are its cord length, hose length, and operating range?

It has a 25-foot cord, seven-foot hose, and published 37-foot operating range.

Where is the variable-suction control located?

The knob is on the canister body. Reduce suction for light rugs or fabrics as their care instructions permit.

How does the tug-and-retract cord rewind work?

A short pull activates rewind. Hold the plug and guide the cord so it cannot whip into nearby objects.

What is the difference between the K2 Turbo and K3 Premium?

K3 adds an electrified ET-1 head, carpet heights, brush control, and handle suction control for demanding carpet and pet hair.

What residential warranty applies to the K2 Turbo?

Standard coverage is 7 years motor and 5 years non-wear parts and labor. Eligible registered dealer purchases may receive 10/10/7 coverage.

Shipping, Return & Refund Policy

Shipping Policy

In-stock merchandise generally ships from our Leesburg, Virginia location within 3–5 business days. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time and is not a guaranteed delivery date. Weekends and holidays can affect timing. Special-order, backordered or unavailable items may take longer; contact us to confirm timing before purchase when a deadline matters.

Shipping options and charges are shown at checkout. After dispatch, follow the carrier's tracking updates. Weather, carrier delays, order verification and inventory confirmation may affect delivery. Inspect packages promptly and retain packaging if there is damage or an incorrect or missing item.

Returns and refunds

Eligible unused items have a 30-calendar-day return request window for refunds or exchanges, measured from delivery or in-store purchase. Return authorization is required. Final-sale exclusions, the 15% restocking fee for change-of-mind returns and shipping responsibilities are explained in our Return and Refund Policy. That policy is the governing source for return eligibility and fees.

For shipping or return help, email sales@acevacuums.com or call 703-997-9292.

30-Day Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Updated September 27, 2026. Request a return for an eligible unused item within 30 calendar days of delivery (or purchase for items collected in store). Eligible returns may be refunded to the original payment method or exchanged, subject to availability. The same 30-day request window applies to both refunds and exchanges; there is no separate seven-day or 15-day refund deadline.

Eligibility and authorization

Items must be unused, clean, complete and in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals and proof of purchase. Contact sales@acevacuums.com or 703-997-9292 before sending anything back. Include your order number, item and reason for return. We will confirm eligibility, charges and return instructions. Unapproved or cash-on-delivery returns are not accepted.

Fees and shipping

For an approved change-of-mind return, a 15% restocking fee applies to the returned merchandise price. Original shipping charges are not refundable and the customer pays return shipping. These charges do not apply to an approved return caused by our shipping error or a damaged/defective item claim. Contact us first so we can arrange the appropriate remedy and shipping instructions. Do not assume a prepaid label is included.

Final-sale and excluded items

Air purifiers; discounted, clearance, trade-in, holiday-sale and price-matched purchases; gift cards; custom or special-order products; electrical parts; used or installed items; opened cleaning solutions; and used bags, filters, belts or other consumables are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Other items clearly marked final sale at purchase are also excluded. An opened box alone does not disqualify an otherwise eligible unused, complete item, but consumables and cleaning solutions must remain unopened.

Damaged, defective, incorrect or missing items; recalls

Inspect your order promptly and contact us as soon as you discover a problem, with your order number and photos where helpful. Keep the packaging. Change-of-mind exclusions and deadlines do not remove applicable defect, warranty, recall or statutory rights. Warranty coverage requires evaluation under the manufacturer's terms; dealer status does not guarantee free repair. Recalled products must follow the manufacturer's recall process.

Refund timing and exchanges

After we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you of approval or the reason it cannot be accepted. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval; your bank may take additional time to post them. Contact us if more than 15 business days have passed since approval. Exchanges require authorization and replacement availability; any price difference and applicable charges will be explained before processing.

Applicable rights and earlier purchases

This policy applies to online and in-store purchases. We will honor more favorable written return terms provided with an earlier purchase. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected. Where the European Union 14-day cancellation right applies, customers may cancel or return eligible orders within 14 days of receipt, subject to applicable legal exceptions, without giving a reason.
