Product Overview

The Miele Compact C1 Pure Suction PowerLine is a compact, bagged canister vacuum for routine cleaning on hard floors and low-pile carpet. Its 1,200-watt PowerLine motor works with a six-stage rotary selector, giving you a way to adjust suction rather than using one setting for every task.

The AllTeQ floorhead is designed for hard floors and low-pile carpet, making it the primary tool for common floor-cleaning jobs. The floorhead has adjustable working height, and its locking system secures the floorhead and handle during use.

For above-floor work, the vacuum includes an upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush. These tools can be kept close at hand on the VarioClip, while the stainless steel telescopic wand and ergonomic handle support different cleaning positions.

Expert Recommendation

We recommend this Compact C1 configuration for shoppers who want a corded, bagged canister with adjustable suction and a floorhead intended for hard floors and low-pile carpet. Its 29.5-foot operating radius, floor-friendly caster wheels, and three-point maneuverability make it practical for everyday room-to-room cleaning.

A different configuration may be a better fit if your home is centered on thick plush carpet or you specifically need a motorized powerbrush. The supplied information identifies the included AllTeQ floorhead for hard floors and low-pile carpet, but it does not list a motorized brush or a dedicated deep-carpet attachment.

Best For

Hardwood Floors

The AllTeQ floorhead is designed for hard floors, and the six-stage suction selector lets you choose a suitable setting for the task.

Low-Pile Carpet

Miele identifies the AllTeQ floorhead for low-pile carpet, giving this canister a straightforward floor-cleaning setup for shorter carpet.

Apartments

The compact canister format, 14-pound stated weight, and 29.5-foot operating radius suit homes where easy movement and storage matter.

Area Rugs

The AllTeQ combination floorhead is listed for area rugs and low-pile carpet, so it can handle common rug-cleaning needs without changing to a separate primary floorhead.

Above-Floor Cleaning

The included upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush support cleaning furniture, edges, narrow spaces, and other above-floor areas.

Adjustable Cleaning

The six-stage rotary selector provides control over suction for different surfaces and cleaning situations.

Not Ideal For

  • Homes dominated by thick plush carpet may need a configuration with a more specialized or motorized floorhead; one is not listed here.
  • This is not a cordless vacuum. It uses an 18-foot cord and requires access to an electrical outlet.
  • Buyers who prefer bagless cleaning may not want a model that uses HyClean FJM FilterBags.
  • A published noise rating is not available in the supplied product information.

Key Features

  • PowerLine Motor: The 1,200-watt PowerLine motor supplies the vacuum’s cleaning power.
  • Six-Stage Control: A six-stage rotary selector lets you adjust suction for different cleaning tasks.
  • AllTeQ Floorhead: The included AllTeQ floorhead is designed for hard floors and low-pile carpet.
  • Bagged Cleaning: The vacuum uses HyClean FJM FilterBags with a stated 3.7-quart US capacity.
  • AirClean Filtration: An AirClean exhaust filter and motor protection filter are part of the filtration system.
  • Compact Maneuverability: Three-point maneuverability, floor-friendly caster wheels, and a carrying handle make the canister easier to move.
  • Integrated Tools: A VarioClip keeps the upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dusting brush available during cleaning.
  • Long Reach: The stated 29.5-foot operating radius helps cover more floor area before repositioning the canister.

What Makes This Model Stand Out

This model combines a compact canister body with a full 29.5-foot operating radius. That pairing gives it a practical balance: the machine is designed to be carried and maneuvered, while the long stated reach can reduce how often you need to move the canister or change outlets.

The cleaning setup is also intentionally straightforward. The AllTeQ floorhead covers the stated hard-floor and low-pile-carpet applications, the rotary selector offers six suction settings, and the VarioClip keeps the three smaller tools within reach.

Product Comparisons

Canister vs Upright

A canister design separates the motor and bag body from the floorhead, while an upright keeps those components together in one upright form. This Compact C1 includes a telescopic wand and above-floor tools, which are central to its canister-style cleaning approach.

Bagged vs Bagless

This Miele uses HyClean FJM FilterBags and includes a FilterBag change indicator. A bagless vacuum uses a dust container instead, so shoppers should compare their preference for bag replacement and dust-container emptying.

Miele vs SEBO

Miele is known for canister vacuums, while SEBO is known mainly for uprights. The right choice depends on the cleaning format and floor tools you prefer; an in-store demonstration can help compare handling.

Miele vs Dyson

This Miele is a corded, bagged canister vacuum with a stated 29.5-foot operating radius. Dyson products vary by model, but shoppers comparing the brands should first decide whether they prefer this type of bagged canister design or another vacuum format.

The compact canister design, 14-pound stated weight, and 29.5-foot operating radius make it a practical option for smaller spaces. Its carrying handle and floor-friendly caster wheels also support moving it between rooms.

Damaged, defective, incorrect or missing items; recalls

Inspect your order promptly and contact us as soon as you discover a problem, with your order number and photos where helpful. Keep the packaging. Change-of-mind exclusions and deadlines do not remove applicable defect, warranty, recall or statutory rights.
