The Miele Triflex HX2 is a cordless stick vacuum with a patented 3-in-1 design, a Wide MultiFloor XXL Electrobrush, and three electronic suction settings. Its PowerUnit can be positioned for reach, comfort, or compact cleaning, helping you adapt the vacuum to different tasks around the home.
A single charge provides up to 60 minutes of runtime when the PowerUnit is used on the low setting without electrical accessories. With the MultiFloor XXL Electrobrush attached, runtime is listed as up to 30 minutes on low and 14 minutes on high; the battery recharge time is 240 minutes.
- Model: Triflex HX2; material number: 11827000
- Lotus white cordless stick vacuum with 3-in-1 design
- Wide MultiFloor XXL Electrobrush with automatic floor recognition
- Up to 60 minutes of low-power runtime with the PowerUnit solo
- HEPA lifetime filter with stated 99.999% dust retention capacity
Product Overview
The Miele Triflex HX2 combines cordless operation with a configurable 3-in-1 layout. Its PowerUnit can be placed at the top for reach mode, positioned for comfort mode, or used in compact mode when the PowerUnit is operated by itself.
The included MultiFloor XXL SEB 430 electrobrush is extra wide and uses automatic flooring recognition. Along with the brush, the package includes an XXL upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, dust brush, wall mount, and power supply unit.
Runtime depends on the configuration and suction level. Miele lists up to 60 minutes on low with the PowerUnit solo, up to 30 minutes on low with electrical accessories, and up to 14 minutes on high with electrical accessories.
Expert Recommendation
We recommend the Triflex HX2 for shoppers who want a cordless vacuum with more than one handling configuration and a supplied floorhead for multiple flooring types. The exchangeable Li-ion battery, three suction settings, and included above-floor tools add flexibility for routine home cleaning.
A corded canister or upright may be a better fit for someone who prefers continuous operation without a recharge period. The HX2 may also be less suitable for shoppers who need the listed runtime to remain at the high setting, since high operation with electrical accessories is rated for up to 14 minutes.
Best For
Hardwood Floors
The included MultiFloor XXL Electrobrush has automatic flooring recognition, making the HX2 a practical option for homes with hard floors and changing surfaces.
Carpet and Rugs
The same electrobrush is intended for multi-floor cleaning, while the three-level suction control lets you select the electronic power setting for the task.
Allergy Sufferers
The maintenance-free HEPA lifetime filter is listed with a 99.999% dust retention capacity. This makes filtration a notable part of the HX2's design, although individual allergy needs vary.
Stairs
Cordless operation avoids a power cord while the 3-in-1 design allows the PowerUnit to be configured for different handling needs.
Apartments
The cordless format, wall mount, and compact mode make the vacuum convenient to store and move through a smaller home.
Not Ideal For
- Not ideal for users who need unlimited cleaning time without pausing to recharge.
- Not ideal for shoppers who primarily want a corded vacuum with continuous operation.
- Not ideal for buyers seeking a lower-cost cordless vacuum rather than a Miele model with a configurable design and HEPA lifetime filter.
- Not ideal for users who require high-power cleaning with electrical accessories for extended periods; the listed high-setting runtime is up to 14 minutes.
Key Features
- 3-in-1 Design: The PowerUnit can be configured in reach, comfort, or compact mode for different cleaning tasks.
- MultiFloor XXL Brush: The extra-wide electrobrush is designed for cleaning across floor types and includes automatic flooring recognition.
- Cordless Runtime: The vacuum runs for up to 60 minutes on the low setting with the PowerUnit used without electrical accessories.
- HEPA Lifetime Filter: The maintenance-free HEPA lifetime filter is rated in the source for 99.999% dust retention capacity.

What Makes This Model Stand Out
The standout feature is the Triflex layout. Rather than locking the PowerUnit into one position, the HX2 lets you choose reach, comfort, or compact mode, so the vacuum can be adapted to floor cleaning, handling, or PowerUnit-solo use.
The filtration and floorhead package also give this model a well-defined everyday role. It pairs a HEPA lifetime exhaust filter and Twist2open dust-container access with a Wide MultiFloor XXL Electrobrush, automatic flooring recognition, and tools for upholstery, crevices, and dusting.
Product Comparisons
Triflex HX2 vs a Corded Canister Vacuum
The HX2 is cordless and lists up to 60 minutes of low-power runtime with the PowerUnit solo, while a corded canister does not depend on battery runtime during operation. Choose the HX2 for cordless flexibility and configurable handling; consider a canister style if continuous cleaning is the priority.
Stick Vacuum vs Canister Vacuum
This Triflex model uses a compact cordless stick format, a 0.5-liter dust container, and a wall mount. Canister vacuums use a separate body connected to the cleaning tool, which may suit shoppers who prefer that style of handling and storage.
Miele vs SEBO
Miele offers this cordless Triflex design, while SEBO is known mainly for upright vacuums. Since handling and floorhead design can feel different, an in-store demonstration at Ace Vacuums is a useful way to compare them.
Miele vs Dyson
The HX2 is a Miele cordless stick vacuum with a 3-in-1 design, automatic flooring recognition, and a HEPA lifetime filter. Compare the specific models rather than assuming that every cordless stick vacuum has the same runtime, tools, or filtration.
Questions Buyers Commonly Ask

It is worth considering if you want cordless operation, three handling configurations, and a floorhead with automatic flooring recognition. The main tradeoff is the recharge period and the shorter listed runtime when using electrical accessories at high power.

Miele lists a cleaning area of 125 m² and up to 60 minutes on low with the PowerUnit solo. Actual coverage depends on the floorhead, suction setting, surface, and cleaning pattern.
Does the HX2 work well for mixed flooring?
The included MultiFloor XXL Electrobrush is made for multi-floor cleaning and includes automatic flooring recognition. That makes the model relevant to homes with more than one floor type.
Is the vacuum easy to store?
The package includes a wall mount, and the vacuum has a compact mode. Those features support wall storage and a smaller PowerUnit-solo configuration.
What is the main reason to choose this model?
Its combination of cordless cleaning, three configurable layouts, automatic floor recognition, and a HEPA lifetime filter is the main reason to choose it. It is especially relevant for shoppers who value flexible handling over unlimited corded runtime.

Applicable rights and earlier purchases
This policy applies to online and in-store purchases. We will honor more favorable written return terms provided with an earlier purchase. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected. Where the European Union 14-day cancellation right applies, customers may cancel or return eligible orders within 14 days of receipt, subject to applicable legal exceptions, without giving a reason.
