Product Overview
The Duoflex HX1 brings cordless convenience to a compact stick-vacuum design. Its Digital Efficiency Motor, Vortex Technology, and two electronic suction settings provide the core cleaning system, while the MultiFloor electrobrush automatically adjusts roller-brush speed when it detects the flooring type.
The appliance is designed to move between floor and above-floor tasks. It converts for handheld use and includes a dust brush, XL upholstery nozzle, and crevice nozzle, making it practical for furniture, upholstery, narrow spaces, and quick cleaning jobs in addition to routine floor care.
The 0.3-liter dust container empties at the touch of a button, and the Hygiene filter is specified with 99.99% dust retention capacity under IEC 62885-4. Charging takes place on the standard wall bracket, which also uses Miele’s SpeedLock system and provides accessory storage.
Expert Recommendation
We recommend the Duoflex HX1 for shoppers who want a cordless Miele vacuum with a flexible floorhead and handheld conversion. Its 7-pound weight, compact dimensions, included above-floor tools, and stated 55-minute low-level PowerUnit-solo runtime make it well suited to routine cleaning where easy deployment matters.
The supplied information does not identify a specific sibling model with a different feature set, so we would not claim that another Duoflex model is a better fit based on this fact pack alone. If your priority is a different runtime, floorhead, or cleaning format, Ace Vacuums can help compare the available Miele options using their published specifications.
Best For
Hardwood Floors
The MultiFloor electrobrush is designed for multiple flooring types and uses flooring detection to adjust roller-brush speed automatically.
Carpet and Rugs
The same MultiFloor electrobrush is intended for multi-floor use. Miele does not provide a separate carpet-pile rating, so shoppers with specialized carpet needs should confirm suitability.
Apartments
The cordless format, compact 0.3-liter dust container, and wall-mounted storage make the vacuum convenient for routine cleaning in smaller spaces.
Stairs
Handheld conversion and cordless operation make it easier to work away from a power outlet, while the crevice and upholstery tools support above-floor tasks.
Everyday Cleaning
Two electronic power levels, one-touch emptying, and automatic floorhead adjustment support quick, regular cleaning.
Furniture and Upholstery
The included XL upholstery nozzle and handheld conversion provide a purpose-listed setup for furniture and upholstery cleaning.
Not Ideal For
- It may not suit users who need unlimited continuous runtime, since it is battery powered and the stated recharge time is 210 minutes.
- The 0.3-liter dust container may require more frequent emptying during larger cleaning jobs.
- Miele’s supplied information does not give a specific pet-hair rating or high-pile-carpet performance claim.
- At 79 dB, it may not be the right choice for shoppers specifically prioritizing a low listed sound level.

- Automatic adjustment: The MultiFloor electrobrush adjusts roller-brush speed automatically using flooring detection.

What Makes This Model Stand Out
The most distinctive part of the Duoflex HX1’s cleaning design is the combination of a cordless PowerUnit, automatic floorhead adjustment, and two-button electronic suction control. Instead of requiring the user to manually change the roller-brush setting for every surface, the MultiFloor electrobrush uses flooring detection to adjust its roller speed.
Its storage system is also designed around everyday convenience. The wall bracket provides charging, the SpeedLock system helps select the appliance configuration in one movement, and the HX-AH 20 accessory storage keeps the included tools with the vacuum.
Product Comparisons
Duoflex HX1 vs Miele Complete C3
The Duoflex HX1 is a cordless stick vacuum with a dust container, handheld conversion, and a stated low-level PowerUnit-solo runtime. Miele’s supplied comparison footnote references the Complete C3 as a conventional canister vacuum in a cleaning-performance comparison, so shoppers deciding between these formats should consider cordless flexibility versus the operating format of a canister.
Stick vs Canister
A cordless stick vacuum is designed for quick movement and compact storage, while a canister vacuum separates the canister from the cleaning wand and floor tool. The Duoflex HX1 adds handheld conversion and wall-bracket charging, but its battery runtime and 0.3-liter container should be considered for larger homes.
Miele vs SEBO
Miele and SEBO offer different vacuum lineups and designs. SEBO is known mainly for uprights, while Miele offers canisters as well as cordless products such as the Duoflex HX1; an in-store demonstration can help compare handling and floor-care preferences.
Miele vs Dyson
The Duoflex HX1 is a cordless, bagless-style stick vacuum with a dust container, automatic floorhead adjustment, and Miele’s stated Hygiene filter specification. Dyson models vary, so compare the specific model’s floorhead, filtration, runtime, and controls rather than assuming features across the brand.

Warranty coverage requires evaluation under the manufacturer's terms; dealer status does not guarantee free repair. Recalled products must follow the manufacturer's recall process.
Refund timing and exchanges
After we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you of approval or the reason it cannot be accepted. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval; your bank may take additional time to post them. Contact us if more than 15 business days have passed since approval. Exchanges require authorization and replacement availability; any price difference and applicable charges will be explained before processing.
Applicable rights and earlier purchases
This policy applies to online and in-store purchases. We will honor more favorable written return terms provided with an earlier purchase. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected. Where the European Union 14-day cancellation right applies, customers may cancel or return eligible orders within 14 days of receipt, subject to applicable legal exceptions, without giving a reason.
