It offers up to 70 minutes of runtime on Low with the PowerUnit alone, while the supplied electrical accessories provide different published runtime ratings. • Hardfloor Care Tool with a soft woven nylon roller
  • Up to 70 minutes on Low with the PowerUnit alone
  • 3-in-1 design with Comfort, Reach and Compact configurations
  • FloorDetect adjusts power based on the detected flooring
  • 0.5-liter dust container and HEPA lifetime filter

Product Overview

The Triflex HX3 Hardfloor is built around a flexible cordless format and a dedicated soft roller. The Hardfloor Care Tool is intended for gentle cleaning on suitable hard floors, while the included MultiFloor XXL electrobrush provides a powered floor-cleaning option with BrilliantLight.

Its cordless design removes the need to move between outlets, but the usable cleaning time depends on the selected mode and the attached tool. Miele publishes up to 70 minutes on Low with the PowerUnit alone, up to 38 minutes on Low with electrical accessories and up to 15 minutes on High with electrical accessories.

The display helps make that battery planning more practical. It shows the selected cleaning mode and remaining time, while Boost mode provides a timer and charging status can be monitored as a percentage.

Expert Recommendation

We recommend this version for households where hard-floor care is a priority and a soft roller is useful. It also makes sense for shoppers who want one cordless machine that can move between floor cleaning, above-floor work and compact handheld jobs without committing to a single fixed layout.

The Triflex arrangement is most useful when you expect to change how you hold or position the vacuum. If your priority is uninterrupted cleaning beyond the published battery ratings, a corded vacuum type may be a better fit; if your priority is wet cleaning, this dry-vacuum configuration is not the appropriate choice.

Best For

Hardwood Floors

The included Hardfloor Care Tool has a soft woven nylon roller intended for gentle cleaning on suitable hard floors. Confirm the tool is appropriate for your specific floor finish before use.

Allergy Sufferers

The HEPA lifetime filter is specified to provide 99.999% exhaust-air filtration under the cited test standard. The bagless container still requires care during emptying.

Stairs

The 3-in-1 design and compact configuration can help with cleaning away from the main floor. The crevice, upholstery and dust-brush tools add options for stair edges and nearby surfaces.

Apartments

The cordless format, wall mount and compact configuration suit shoppers who want flexible storage and no power cord during cleaning. The 0.5-liter container provides a defined capacity for routine jobs.

Above-Floor Cleaning

The Reach and Compact configurations, along with the dust brush, upholstery nozzle and crevice nozzle, support furniture, edges and confined areas.

Mixed Cleaning Tasks

FloorDetect, three electronic power levels, the MultiFloor XXL electrobrush and the soft hard-floor roller give you different tools and controls for appropriate surfaces.

Not Ideal For

  • It is not ideal for long uninterrupted cleaning sessions that exceed the useful runtime of one charge, especially when using electrical accessories or High power.
  • It is not a wet vacuum and should not be used for liquids or materials excluded by the operating instructions.
  • The Hardfloor Care Tool does not automatically make every delicate floor suitable for powered-brush cleaning; check the flooring manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Shoppers who prefer sealed disposable vacuum bags may prefer a bagged vacuum instead of this bagless dust-container design.

Key Features

  • Soft Hard-Floor Roller: The included Hardfloor Care Tool uses a soft woven nylon roller for gentle cleaning on suitable hard floors.
  • 3-in-1 Design: The PowerUnit can be positioned for Comfort, Reach or Compact cleaning configurations.
  • FloorDetect System: FloorDetect detects the flooring and adjusts suction power.
  • Runtime Display: The display shows remaining cleaning time, selected power mode and Boost-mode timing information.
  • HEPA Lifetime Filter: The maintenance-free HEPA lifetime filter provides stated filtration of 99.999% under the cited test standard.
  • BrilliantLight: The powered floorhead includes bright LED lighting to help make dust and debris easier to see.
  • Twist2open Emptying: Twist2open is designed to release dust from the container with a simple opening motion.
  • Exchangeable Battery: The vacuum uses an exchangeable VARTA lithium-ion battery.

What Makes This Model Stand Out

The most distinctive part of this package is the combination of a soft hard-floor roller and the Triflex 3-in-1 layout. You can use the dedicated roller when gentle hard-floor cleaning is the priority, then reposition the PowerUnit for reach or compact work when the task changes.

The display also gives this cordless vacuum more usable feedback than a simple on/off control. Remaining time, power mode and Boost timing help you decide when to change settings or return the vacuum to its charger.

Product Comparisons

Triflex HX3 Hardfloor vs Another Triflex Configuration

This version is the more specific choice when the included soft hard-floor roller is important. Compare the included tools and floorhead configuration of another Triflex model before choosing, because the supplied accessories determine how directly each package matches your floors.

Stick vs Canister

A cordless stick vacuum offers a compact, freely moving format and can be reconfigured for above-floor work. A canister vacuum generally separates the cleaning body from the handle and floor tool, which may suit shoppers who prefer a different handling style or longer corded cleaning routine.

Miele vs SEBO

Miele offers this cordless Triflex stick format, while SEBO is known mainly for upright vacuums. Since handling, floorhead feel and cleaning habits matter, an in-store demonstration can help you compare the two approaches.

Miele vs Dyson

This Miele is a cordless, bagless stick vacuum with a 0.5-liter dust container, a 3-in-1 design and a stated HEPA lifetime filter. Dyson comparisons should focus on the particular model’s tools, handling, filtration claims and battery information rather than assuming all cordless designs perform the same way.

Questions Buyers Commonly Ask

Is the Triflex HX3 Hardfloor worth considering for a home with mostly hard floors?

Yes, if the included soft roller and cordless 3-in-1 format match your routine. The package also includes a powered MultiFloor XXL electrobrush, so you have more than one floor-cleaning option.

Can I use it for a whole-home cleaning session?

That depends on the selected power level, attached tool and size of the home. The maximum 70-minute figure applies to Low with the PowerUnit alone; electrical accessories have published ratings of up to 38 minutes on Low and 15 minutes on High.

Does the LED light make cleaning easier?

The BrilliantLight on the powered floorhead is designed to make dust and debris easier to see. It improves visibility but does not replace checking the brush and floor for obstructions.

Is the 0.5-liter container large enough?

The container holds 0.5 liters. Whether that is enough for your routine depends on the amount of debris collected and how often you are comfortable emptying a bagless vacuum.

Should I choose this over a corded vacuum?

Choose it when cordless movement, flexible configuration and the supplied hard-floor roller are important. A corded vacuum may be a better fit if you want to clean for longer than the published battery runtimes without recharging.

Shipping, Return & Refund Policy

Shipping Policy

In-stock merchandise generally ships from our Leesburg, Virginia location within 3–5 business days. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time and is not a guaranteed delivery date. Weekends and holidays can affect timing. Special-order, backordered or unavailable items may take longer; contact us to confirm timing before purchase when a deadline matters.

Shipping options and charges are shown at checkout. After dispatch, follow the carrier's tracking updates. Weather, carrier delays, order verification and inventory confirmation may affect delivery. Inspect packages promptly and retain packaging if there is damage or an incorrect or missing item.

Returns and refunds

Eligible unused items have a 30-calendar-day return request window for refunds or exchanges, measured from delivery or in-store purchase. Return authorization is required. Final-sale exclusions, the 15% restocking fee for change-of-mind returns and shipping responsibilities are explained in our Return and Refund Policy. That policy is the governing source for return eligibility and fees.

For shipping or return help, email sales@acevacuums.com or call 703-997-9292.

30-Day Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Updated September 27, 2026. Request a return for an eligible unused item within 30 calendar days of delivery (or purchase for items collected in store). Eligible returns may be refunded to the original payment method or exchanged, subject to availability. The same 30-day request window applies to both refunds and exchanges; there is no separate seven-day or 15-day refund deadline.

Eligibility and authorization

Items must be unused, clean, complete and in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals and proof of purchase. Contact sales@acevacuums.com or 703-997-9292 before sending anything back. Include your order number, item and reason for return. We will confirm eligibility, charges and return instructions. Unapproved or cash-on-delivery returns are not accepted.

Fees and shipping

For an approved change-of-mind return, a 15% restocking fee applies to the returned merchandise price. Original shipping charges are not refundable and the customer pays return shipping. These charges do not apply to an approved return caused by our shipping error or a damaged/defective item claim. Contact us first so we can arrange the appropriate remedy and shipping instructions. Do not assume a prepaid label is included.

Final-sale and excluded items

Air purifiers; discounted, clearance, trade-in, holiday-sale and price-matched purchases; gift cards; custom or special-order products; electrical parts; used or installed items; opened cleaning solutions; and used bags, filters, belts or other consumables are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Other items clearly marked final sale at purchase are also excluded. An opened box alone does not disqualify an otherwise eligible unused, complete item, but consumables and cleaning solutions must remain unopened.

Damaged, defective, incorrect or missing items; recalls

Inspect your order promptly and contact us as soon as you discover a problem, with your order number and photos where helpful. Keep the packaging. Change-of-mind exclusions and deadlines do not remove applicable defect, warranty, recall or statutory rights. Warranty coverage requires evaluation under the manufacturer's terms; dealer status does not guarantee free repair. Recalled products must follow the manufacturer's recall process.

After we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you of approval or the reason it cannot be accepted. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval; your bank may take additional time to post them. Contact us if more than 15 business days have passed since approval. Exchanges require authorization and replacement availability; any price difference and applicable charges will be explained before processing.

Applicable rights and earlier purchases

This policy applies to online and in-store purchases. We will honor more favorable written return terms provided with an earlier purchase. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected. Where the European Union 14-day cancellation right applies, customers may cancel or return eligible orders within 14 days of receipt, subject to applicable legal exceptions, without giving a reason.
