Before replacing a SEBO filter, identify the exact vacuum family and the filter you need. A canister filter set, an upright pre-motor filter and a textile exhaust filter are different purchases. Match the part number first, then check the package contents.

Start with your model family

Read filter-set and service-box descriptions separately

A filter set supplies the components listed in that set. A service box can combine bags and filters. Confirm every included component against your model, especially with Automatic X generations. Sharing a bag does not necessarily mean sharing the same exhaust filter or service box.

FELIX and DART: distinguish the two filter positions

The pre-motor filter is separate from the external textile exhaust filter. Identify the component you are replacing before choosing a package or color. Check the listing’s part number and model compatibility rather than choosing an exhaust wrap by appearance alone.

Automatic X and Essential G: match the exhaust filter carefully

These ranges include different filter arrangements. A compatible pre-motor component does not establish the correct exhaust filter. Check the full series designation, including the X generation, against the part listing and manual.

A careful replacement routine

1. Switch off and unplug the vacuum.
2. Read the filter-access and replacement steps for the exact model.
3. Remove the specified cover or component without forcing clips.
4. Install the correctly matched filter in the stated orientation.
5. Secure the cover and confirm the components are seated before use.

These are preparation steps; the model’s instructions determine the actual access procedure. Do not wash a filter unless the manufacturer explicitly permits it.

When a filter change does not resolve the problem

Low airflow can also involve the bag, hose or cleaning head. Use the troubleshooting instructions for your model. If the fault persists, tell our team what you have checked and arrange a diagnosis before ordering additional parts.
