Photograph the installed system
Take one clear photo of the full unit and one of its model label. Include the collection canister and pipe connections. A hose or floor-brush model is a separate identifier.

Three parts of the ownership routine.
Collection canister
Separated debris collects in the canister. Check its level and empty it before it becomes overfilled.
Fixed motor-guard screen
The screen protects the motor path and needs cleaning. It is not a disposable FC cartridge or a part to remove for routine care.
Exhaust outdoors
The true cyclonic system requires outdoor exhaust. Include the existing exhaust route and termination in a service or replacement discussion.

Canister, screen, seal.
- Disconnect power before opening the collection area.
- Empty around two-thirds full and clean the fixed screen as directed.
- Refit the canister securely before restarting.
The screen stays in place. If suction remains weak after correct owner maintenance, describe which inlets are affected when you call.

Does a VACUFLO true cyclonic unit need a disposable bag?
The listed 260, 466Q, 566Q, 760 and MaxAir true cyclonic models do not use a disposable collection bag or replaceable cartridge. They do require collection-canister and fixed motor-guard-screen care.
Does true cyclonic mean maintenance-free?
No. Empty the canister and clean the fixed motor-guard screen according to the model manual. Check the collection seal when refitting the canister.
Does the exhaust need to go outside?
Yes. VACUFLO specifies outdoor exhaust for its true cyclonic system. Have the route and termination reviewed when planning installation or replacement.
Can I remove the motor-guard screen to clean it?
The owner manual identifies this screen as non-removable. Disconnect power and follow the listed cleaning procedure without removing the screen or opening the motor housing.
My model is 26, 460, 560 or 960. Can I use this table?
Use the matching legacy owner manual and full label for those models. VACUFLO provides older manuals separately. A nearby model number does not establish identical parts or instructions.
Where should I start if suction drops?
Check the model’s collection and screen maintenance instructions, then record whether the problem affects every inlet or only one hose or inlet. Persistent suction loss calls for an assessment of the airflow path and equipment.
