  • Vortex Technology for coarse and fine dust collection
  • Four-stage rotary selector for electronic suction control
  • 32-foot operating radius with a 21-foot cord
  • Includes floorhead, upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush

Product Overview

The Miele Boost CX1 combines a compact canister format with Miele’s Vortex Technology. According to Miele, airflow in excess of 100 km/h helps the machine collect coarse and fine dust, while the bagless design directs debris into a 1.0-liter dust container.

Cleaning control is handled through a four-stage electronic rotary selector, allowing the suction setting to be adjusted for the task at hand. The machine uses a PowerLine motor, a Hygiene AirClean exhaust filter, and a 21-foot cord that contributes to a 32-foot operating radius.

The canister is designed for easy movement around the home. TrackDrive side wheels help it stay on course, and Miele notes that the wheels also allow the appliance to be positioned on a stair or step. An ergonomic carrying handle and comfort handle support movement between rooms.

The Boost CX1 comes with an SBD 365-3 floorhead as well as an upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush. Its graphite grey finish, compact 15 3/4-by-11-by-11-inch body, and 18-pound weight give it a storage-friendly profile without switching to a cordless format.

Expert Recommendation

We recommend the Boost CX1 for shoppers who want a Miele canister vacuum with bagless operation, adjustable suction, and a complete set of basic floor and above-floor tools. It is especially relevant for apartments, smaller homes, and other spaces where a compact canister and straightforward storage are important.

The Boost CX1 may be a better fit than a larger or more specialized vacuum when maneuverability and compact dimensions matter most. On the other hand, shoppers who specifically want a cordless format, a traditional bagged system, or a specialized powered floor tool should compare those requirements before choosing this model. Ace Vacuums can help review the available options and confirm which configuration fits your cleaning routine.

Best For

Apartments

The compact body is easy to position and store, while the 32-foot operating radius helps cover rooms without frequent cord changes.

Hard Floors

The included SBD 365-3 floorhead provides the primary floor-cleaning setup for everyday household use.

Area Rugs

The four-stage rotary selector lets you adjust suction for different cleaning tasks, including work on rugs and other floor surfaces.

Above-Floor Cleaning

The included upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush support cleaning furniture, narrow spaces, and other above-floor areas.

Stairs

TrackDrive side wheels help the canister remain stable, and Miele states that it can be positioned on a stair or step.

Bagless Households

The 1.0-liter dust container avoids the need for replacement vacuum bags.

Not Ideal For

  • It may not be the right choice for shoppers who specifically need a cordless vacuum, since this model has a power cord and a 21-foot cord length.
  • Customers who prefer a traditional bagged canister should compare another vacuum format, because the Boost CX1 uses a bagless dust container.
  • The listed 78 dB sound level may not suit shoppers whose first priority is the quietest possible cleaning experience.
  • The included floorhead and tools are suited to general cleaning, but the source does not identify a specialized powered pet-hair or deep-carpet tool.

Key Features

  • Vortex Technology: High-speed airflow helps collect coarse and fine dust effectively.
  • Bagless Dust Collection: The 1.0-liter dust container collects debris without replacement vacuum bags.
  • TrackDrive Wheels: Side wheels help the canister stay stable and move in its intended direction.
  • Four-Stage Control: The electronic suction setting uses a four-stage rotary selector.
  • Compact Design: The compact body is designed for maneuverability and easier storage.
  • Included Tools: The package includes an SBD 365-3 floorhead, upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush.

What Makes This Model Stand Out

The Boost CX1’s main distinction is the combination of a compact canister body, bagless convenience, and Miele’s Vortex Technology. The four-stage suction selector adds useful control, while the 1.0-liter dust container keeps the machine free of replacement bags.

Its handling features are equally practical. TrackDrive side wheels help the vacuum follow its path and make it easier to position on stairs, while the comfort telescopic wand and included small tools extend the machine’s usefulness beyond floor cleaning.

Product Comparisons

Boost CX1 vs another Miele canister vacuum

The Boost CX1 is a compact, bagless Miele canister with a 1.0-liter dust container, four-stage suction control, and the listed accessory set. A different Miele canister may be a better match if your priorities are a different collection system, floor tool, or machine format; compare the exact model specifications before choosing.

Canister vs upright

A canister vacuum separates the main body from the wand and floorhead, which can make it convenient to carry and use with above-floor tools. An upright keeps the cleaning components in one upright unit; the better format depends on how you prefer to move, store, and use a vacuum.

Miele vs SEBO

Miele is commonly associated with canister vacuums, while SEBO is known mainly for uprights. The Boost CX1 offers Miele’s compact bagless canister design, but an in-store demonstration can help you compare handling and floor-cleaning preferences.

Miele vs Dyson

The Boost CX1 is a corded, bagless canister vacuum. Dyson offers multiple vacuum formats, so the practical comparison should focus on the specific Dyson model’s design, power source, dust collection, and included tools rather than the brand name alone.

Questions Buyers Commonly Ask

Is the Boost CX1 good for everyday cleaning?

It is designed as a general-purpose bagless canister vacuum, with an included floorhead and tools for upholstery, crevices, and dusting. The four-stage suction selector adds control for different tasks.

Is it good for pet hair?

The source confirms general dust collection and the included floorhead, upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush. It does not identify a dedicated pet-hair tool or make a specific pet-hair performance claim, so shoppers with heavy pet-hair needs should compare specialized options.

Is the Boost CX1 quiet?

Miele lists the sound level at 78 dB. Because quietness is subjective, shoppers who place special importance on sound should compare this rating with other models.

Is it worth choosing a bagless canister vacuum?

The bagless design means you do not need replacement vacuum bags, and the 1.0-liter container provides a stated collection capacity. Some shoppers may still prefer a bagged system, so the choice depends on your maintenance preference.

Can I use it for furniture and tight spaces?

Yes. The package includes an upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush for above-floor surfaces and narrow areas.

Shipping, Return & Refund Policy

Shipping Policy

In-stock merchandise generally ships from our Leesburg, Virginia location within 3–5 business days. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time and is not a guaranteed delivery date. Weekends and holidays can affect timing. Special-order, backordered or unavailable items may take longer; contact us to confirm timing before purchase when a deadline matters.

Shipping options and charges are shown at checkout. After dispatch, follow the carrier's tracking updates. Weather, carrier delays, order verification and inventory confirmation may affect delivery. Inspect packages promptly and retain packaging if there is damage or an incorrect or missing item.

Returns and refunds

Eligible unused items have a 30-calendar-day return request window for refunds or exchanges, measured from delivery or in-store purchase. Return authorization is required. Final-sale exclusions, the 15% restocking fee for change-of-mind returns and shipping responsibilities are explained in our Return and Refund Policy. That policy is the governing source for return eligibility and fees.

For shipping or return help, email sales@acevacuums.com or call 703-997-9292.

30-Day Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Updated September 27, 2026. Request a return for an eligible unused item within 30 calendar days of delivery (or purchase for items collected in store). Eligible returns may be refunded to the original payment method or exchanged, subject to availability. The same 30-day request window applies to both refunds and exchanges; there is no separate seven-day or 15-day refund deadline.

Eligibility and authorization

Items must be unused, clean, complete and in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals and proof of purchase. Contact sales@acevacuums.com or 703-997-9292 before sending anything back. Include your order number, item and reason for return. We will confirm eligibility, charges and return instructions. Unapproved or cash-on-delivery returns are not accepted.

Fees and shipping

For an approved change-of-mind return, a 15% restocking fee applies to the returned merchandise price. Original shipping charges are not refundable and the customer pays return shipping. These charges do not apply to an approved return caused by our shipping error or a damaged/defective item claim. Contact us first so we can arrange the appropriate remedy and shipping instructions. Do not assume a prepaid label is included.

Final-sale and excluded items

Air purifiers; discounted, clearance, trade-in, holiday-sale and price-matched purchases; gift cards; custom or special-order products; electrical parts; used or installed items; opened cleaning solutions; and used bags, filters, belts or other consumables are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Other items clearly marked final sale at purchase are also excluded. An opened box alone does not disqualify an otherwise eligible unused, complete item, but consumables and cleaning solutions must remain unopened.

Damaged, defective, incorrect or missing items; recalls

Inspect your order promptly and contact us as soon as you discover a problem, with your order number and photos where helpful. Keep the packaging. Change-of-mind exclusions and deadlines do not remove applicable defect, warranty, recall or statutory rights. Warranty coverage requires evaluation under the manufacturer's terms; dealer status does not guarantee free repair. Recalled products must follow the manufacturer's recall process.

Refund timing and exchanges

After we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you of approval or the reason it cannot be accepted. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval; your bank may take additional time to post them. Contact us if more than 15 business days have passed since approval. Exchanges require authorization and replacement availability; any price difference and applicable charges will be explained before processing.

Applicable rights and earlier purchases

This policy applies to online and in-store purchases. We will honor more favorable written return terms provided with an earlier purchase. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected. Where the European Union 14-day cancellation right applies, customers may cancel or return eligible orders within 14 days of receipt, subject to applicable legal exceptions, without giving a reason.
