Product Overview

The Miele Boost CX1 combines a compact canister format with Miele's Vortex Technology and PowerLine motor. The bagless system is designed to collect both coarse and fine dust, while the four-stage rotary selector lets you adjust electronic suction power for different cleaning tasks.

A 32-foot operating radius gives the vacuum useful reach around a room, and the 21-foot cord supports that range. The Comfort handle, Comfort telescopic wand, and TrackDrive side wheels are designed to make the canister easier to guide and reposition as you clean.

For floor and above-floor work, the package includes the SBD 365-3 floorhead, upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush. The compact Obsidian Black body measures 15 3/4 inches wide by 11 inches high and 11 inches deep.

The Boost CX1 uses a 1.0-liter dust container and a Hygiene AirClean exhaust filter. It is a corded, bagless canister for shoppers who want adjustable suction and included tools in a compact design.

Expert Recommendation

We recommend the Boost CX1 for homes that prefer a canister vacuum over a stick or upright format and want bagless dust collection. Its compact body, TrackDrive wheels, telescopic wand, and included above-floor tools make it a practical choice for routine floor and detail cleaning.

The four-stage suction selector is useful when you want more control than a single fixed setting provides. The SBD 365-3 floorhead is included for floor cleaning, while the upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush extend the vacuum's use beyond the floor.

A different Miele series or vacuum type may be a better fit if your priority is a specialized floorhead, a cordless design, or a different dust-collection format. Ace Vacuums can help compare available options and arrange an in-store demonstration.

Best For

Apartments and Compact Spaces

The compact canister design is suited to homes where maneuverability and storage space matter. Its 15 3/4-inch width and 11-inch height and depth give it a relatively compact footprint.

Hard Floors and Area Rugs

The included SBD 365-3 floorhead provides the primary floor-cleaning tool. The four-stage suction selector lets you adjust power as you move between surfaces.

Above-Floor Cleaning

The upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, and dust brush support cleaning furniture, narrow spaces, and other above-floor areas.

Stairs

Miele states that the side wheels allow the canister to be set down on a stair or step. The telescopic wand and included tools also support cleaning beyond the main floor.

Bagless Households

The 1.0-liter dust container eliminates the need for disposable vacuum bags. Vortex Technology is designed to help separate coarse and fine dust.

Adjustable Cleaning

The four-stage electronic rotary selector provides control over suction power rather than requiring one setting for every task.

Not Ideal For

  • It may not be the right choice for shoppers who specifically want a cordless vacuum.
  • The 18-pound canister may feel substantial to users seeking an especially lightweight vacuum.
  • Customers who prefer a traditional bagged system may want to consider a different Miele model.
  • The listed sound level is 78 dB, so shoppers prioritizing very quiet operation should compare models in person.

Key Features

  • Vortex Technology: High-speed airflow helps separate coarse and fine dust during cleaning.
  • Bagless Cleaning: The 1.0-liter dust container collects debris without disposable vacuum bags.
  • Four-Stage Control: A rotary selector provides four electronic suction power settings.
  • TrackDrive Wheels: Side wheels help the canister stay on track and can support positioning on stairs.
  • Compact Design: The compact body is designed for maneuverability and storage where space is limited.
  • Hygiene AirClean Filter: The exhaust filter helps filter the air leaving the vacuum.

What Makes This Model Stand Out

The Boost CX1 stands out for combining a compact bagless canister body with four-stage electronic suction control. Vortex Technology is designed to support the separation and collection of both coarse and fine dust, while the 1,200-watt PowerLine motor provides the stated power platform.

Its TrackDrive system is another practical detail. The side wheels help the canister stay on course and allow it to be positioned on stairs, while the 32-foot operating radius, Comfort handle, and telescopic wand support movement through a room.

Product Comparisons

Boost CX1 vs Another Miele Vacuum Series

The Boost CX1 is a compact, bagless canister with a four-stage suction selector and a standard included tool set. Another Miele series may be a better match if you need a different floorhead, dust-collection approach, or vacuum format; Ace Vacuums can help compare the available options.

Canister vs Upright

A canister separates the motor and dust-collection body from the floorhead, as this model does, while an upright keeps those elements together in one standing machine. The Boost CX1 may appeal to shoppers who want a compact canister with a telescopic wand and above-floor tools.

Miele vs SEBO

Miele is known for canister vacuums as well as other formats, while SEBO is known mainly for uprights. The right choice depends on the handling style and floor-cleaning setup you prefer, so an in-store demonstration can be useful.

Miele vs Dyson

The Boost CX1 is a corded, bagless canister vacuum with a 21-foot cord and a 32-foot operating radius. Shoppers comparing it with Dyson should first decide whether they prefer this canister format and corded design or a different general vacuum format.

Shipping, Return & Refund Policy

Shipping Policy

In-stock merchandise generally ships from our Leesburg, Virginia location within 3–5 business days. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time and is not a guaranteed delivery date. Weekends and holidays can affect timing. Special-order, backordered or unavailable items may take longer; contact us to confirm timing before purchase when a deadline matters.

Shipping options and charges are shown at checkout. After dispatch, follow the carrier's tracking updates. Weather, carrier delays, order verification and inventory confirmation may affect delivery. Inspect packages promptly and retain packaging if there is damage or an incorrect or missing item.

Returns and refunds

Eligible unused items have a 30-calendar-day return request window for refunds or exchanges, measured from delivery or in-store purchase. Return authorization is required. Final-sale exclusions, the 15% restocking fee for change-of-mind returns and shipping responsibilities are explained in our Return and Refund Policy. That policy is the governing source for return eligibility and fees.

For shipping or return help, email sales@acevacuums.com or call 703-997-9292.

30-Day Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Updated September 27, 2026. Request a return for an eligible unused item within 30 calendar days of delivery (or purchase for items collected in store). Eligible returns may be refunded to the original payment method or exchanged, subject to availability. The same 30-day request window applies to both refunds and exchanges; there is no separate seven-day or 15-day refund deadline.

Eligibility and authorization

Items must be unused, clean, complete and in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals and proof of purchase. Contact sales@acevacuums.com or 703-997-9292 before sending anything back. Include your order number, item and reason for return. We will confirm eligibility, charges and return instructions. Unapproved or cash-on-delivery returns are not accepted.

Fees and shipping

For an approved change-of-mind return, a 15% restocking fee applies to the returned merchandise price. Original shipping charges are not refundable and the customer pays return shipping. These charges do not apply to an approved return caused by our shipping error or a damaged/defective item claim. Contact us first so we can arrange the appropriate remedy and shipping instructions. Do not assume a prepaid label is included.

Final-sale and excluded items

Air purifiers; discounted, clearance, trade-in, holiday-sale and price-matched purchases; gift cards; custom or special-order products; electrical parts; used or installed items; opened cleaning solutions; and used bags, filters, belts or other consumables are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Other items clearly marked final sale at purchase are also excluded. An opened box alone does not disqualify an otherwise eligible unused, complete item, but consumables and cleaning solutions must remain unopened.

Damaged, defective, incorrect or missing items; recalls

Inspect your order promptly and contact us as soon as you discover a problem, with your order number and photos where helpful. Keep the packaging. Change-of-mind exclusions and deadlines do not remove applicable defect, warranty, recall or statutory rights. Warranty coverage requires evaluation under the manufacturer's terms; dealer status does not guarantee free repair. Recalled products must follow the manufacturer's recall process.

Refund timing and exchanges

After we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you of approval or the reason it cannot be accepted. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval; your bank may take additional time to post them. Contact us if more than 15 business days have passed since approval. Exchanges require authorization and replacement availability; any price difference and applicable charges will be explained before processing.

Applicable rights and earlier purchases

This policy applies to online and in-store purchases. We will honor more favorable written return terms provided with an earlier purchase. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected. Where the European Union 14-day cancellation right applies, customers may cancel or return eligible orders within 14 days of receipt, subject to applicable legal exceptions, without giving a reason.
